The Polar Bench Top Freezer provides a welcome convenience by eliminating numerous trips to storage freezers. Ideal for intermediate term storage of restriction enzymes and for applications that require sub-freezing temperatures such as ethanol precipitations.

The Polar Block incorporates a solid state, air cooled thermo-electric design for efficient and dependable service. Exact temperature is displayed on a digital LCD read out. The Polar Block will reach and maintain temperatures 35°C to 39°C below ambient (typically -15°C) in approximately 30 minutes.

Supplied with a removable aluminum block that holds up to 14 x 1.5 ml micro-tubes. Block has a recessed handle to facilitate handling and transporting. Additional 1.5 ml and 0.5 ml blocks are available separately.
