The Genesphere™UV100 provides innovative contamination control and protects samples from airborne contamination. Incorporates ultraviolet light irradiation for use in Molecular Biology applications such as DNA amplification utilizing Polymerase Chain Reaction (P.C.R.). The combination of Class 100 clean air and the UV facility provide a contamination free environment. Permits experiments to be conducted next to each other and eliminates need for separate laboratories.

A manual or automatically controlled ultraviolet irradiation “Purge” mode destroys 99.99% of contaminating DNA molecules. The spherical shape and positive pressure system prevents contaminated air pockets.

A thermistor controlled filter alarm signals when the HEPA filter needs to be changed. All replacement components such as filters and lights are readily accessible and easily changed. The unique HEPA filter cassette provides up to 700 hours of Class 100 clean air under normal laboratory conditions. Supplied complete with pre-filter, HEPA filter and UV lamps.
