The Amylose Resin is an affinity matrix which specifically binds proteins fused to maltose-binding protein (MBP). When using the Amylose Resin with the MBP-Spin Protein Miniprep Kits, proteins can be purified within 6 minutes. 100 µl of Amylose Resin typically bind ≥400 µg of fusion protein which can be eluted with maltose.
